Working as an associate and new grad, which major city would you move for higher income potential (northeast coast)

2024 new grad currently in San Bernardo county, CA. 5 days a week (two Saturdays per month). Making about 4700-5200 biweekly after tax. Low volume of patients which makes my income static.

I want to move back to east coast because that’s where I am from, I am more used to the nyc lifestyle - museums, galleries, cafe and parks (I know nyc is so horrible lifestyle choice financially speaking 🤣).

I am have thinking northern Virginia, Washington DC, Philadelphia, north jersey (or even cherry hill)… possibly Connecticut or Boston area too.

Anyone worked in those areas as associate and new grad? How was your experience?
