The playing field
I know everyone (including me) is will say the fatal flaw of Rhea's game this season is she was overly loyal to her alliance, be it Prince or GG which was not reciprocated. But lets take a moment and think about what would have happened if she did?
The unfortunate reality is that these reality shows are highly biased and not only the show makers, but so is the audience. Last year, when Rhea played so smartly, there were still people discrediting her. Her being smart was equated to her having the capability to commit crimes.
This season was a lose-lose for Rhea. Even before the season began, Elvish was throwing shadea at her saying he would learn double cross from Rhea (we all know what he meant).
When Prince/GG double cross someone, it is seen as a game. Oh so smart. If Rhea did the same, she would have anyway recieved hate for being "dhokebaaz" cause this country loves witch hunting.
If she played a loyal game, still she recieves hate. In the bakri task, they all had to safeguard their own gang first, and there she prioritized her gang over alliance and yet recieved criticism as if she was supposed to sacrifice her gang for alliance.
There are other gang leaders who behaves way worse than her, uses abusive words, shouts, screams at contestants and recieves no flack. Rather they get edits with alpha, sigma, beta edits. They get praises for being Rude and dare Rhea does one thing, she is mean. From the start of this season, I knew by the initial promotions that she would be sidelined.
Which we clearly saw how the host and the production has directly contributed in creating the internal gang mutiny in her gang by telling them gang leaders are not to be followed only to her gang. I am honestly so done with this season. The most favorite leader for me this season is Rhea and Elvish, and honesty I would love for any of them to win. These two have not made the show about themselves or their ego rather about their team members.
The show is clearly favoring Neha and Prince from either Alliance. I knew when the season was announced and the whole RV-Neha-Prince promotion started that this would be the case. The only reason they are not screwing Elvish as badly as they are with Rhea is cause he has a fanbase which would scr*w roadies over if they do so.
Even last season when Rhea had the max rodiums, they made sure auction had nothing to do with rodium. She had maximum members which they made sure to dwindle by sending rajveer home unfairly without second chance while siwet, himanshu etc stayed back despite being voted out.
They rigged a tie between siwet & Rishabh to get siwet to final with a rigged vote in, where DV & Piyu went against rules in favor of Prince. It is obvious the production keeps favoring their OG then why even get the new gang leaders?! We have seem two members from Nikhil gang play finale so obviously it's not an issue if it is from a gang they prefer.
GG was one of my favourite last season just because how calm and composed he was and he came across a gentleman. This season he is acting like a wannabe and like Prince, the bois attitude which actually is disappointing. His VDs against Rhea in previous episodes, and now asking her to shut up while he was crying about respect, this is hypocrisy all over.
The most disappointing thing about this season is that there is barely any focus on the roadies. Yogesh, rohit, hartaj, Gunjan maybe has made a mark but barely anyone else to look forward to.
This show is turning into a fabricated mini BB audition. Just done with all this stupid twist and manipulation and interference from production. Raghu was right when he said the show has lost it's originality.
