Current Gen 2.7L Engine Noise

Is it me or is this engine super quiet? I drove with my music off on the highway just to hear the engine and make sure there were no funny sounds. To my asto astonishment, there was little to no noise. I heard some revs when I would accelerate, but I can't hear the turbos spooling or really anything. I expected it to be louder/have that turbo whistle. Anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?
