My initial review of Suresmile clear aligners

Dental Professional

It’s not to bash the company but rather say what I think could be improved…and also curious if someone else have similar issues..

  1. Their software is not great. It feels outdated and doesn’t provide as much information as I’d like. It’s really a pain to work with. 2. Whenever I request modifications to the treatment plan, the previous version disappears. I can’t compare the two plans unless I recreate the same patient under a new name (e.g., “Patient Name #2”) and re-upload all the photos and scans. It’s really annoying. 3. They don’t follow my instructions well. Every time I ask for specific things, they’re missing in the plan. 4. They don’t provide any feedback on the treatment plan. For example, they won’t say things like, “These attachments are recommended for better rotation,” or “These attachments might interfere with occlusion.” They just send back the plan with no explanation-“Here’s your treatment plan.” 5. The trays are extremely rigid. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if patients start losing attachments within a few weeks because the trays are so hard to remove and insert. 6. There’s a lack of variety in attachments. They’re also bulky, and I’m not sure how effective they’ll be. 7. The whole kit isn’t as presentable as Invisalign. I’m not a fan of the retainer container, it’s blue and gray, opens sideways, and is tricky to clean. That being said, these are just my initial thoughts. I’ve only started a few cases and am considering switching to something else if I’m not happy with the results. The main issue for me is the hassle of planning treatment with their software. The other drawbacks I could probably overlook.
