Exploration question

Hello Commanders, I am a new player, I recently upgraded my GPU only but not my PSU, I will later when I can afford it, but for now, although the game runs completely fine in all’s areas, when I try to go into a planet my whole computer shuts down. I have gathered 100mil via trading alone, I got a type-9 heavy with arx and via trading I gathered that money. I want to try exploration, what ship do you suggest and also is it profitable without going into planets? (I won odyssey) I know very little of the games mechanics , no idea what biothing is etc. would appreciate any info please.

Or do you suggest I stick on trading until I upgrade my PSU?
