Different starting location?

I awoke in a prison cell, and it asked me some questions. Then I had a note and music box in my possession. Has anyone encountered this? I was having issues with creating a new adventure and was testing taking out different mods to find the culprit. It would start with a black screen and the UI up. Now I've got this. This is on PC with controller. I was going to add some pictures, but imgur isn't working for me for some reason.

Anyway, has anyone gotten this? Did I miss the info in the patch notes saying new starting locations were added?
