How to get tamagotchi to full happiness?

Hi Guys! I have a tamagotchi M!x spacy version, and my adult tamagotchi seems to always be sad, so I was wondering what methods I could use to cheer it up? If i just keep spamming the building blocks, or let it play outside, will that increase happiness? Does playing the star and rainbow paint game increase its happiness?
