Found out last week I had two IUDs for the last five years

I had a removal/insertion for Mirena last week and when the doctor removed my old IUD(s) he said “Did you know you have two IUDs?” Obviously I did not. He showed them to me. He asked me where I had them inserted and it was at that office five years prior. He said that it was fine, but was clearly concerned that it happened there.

I’m worried what this might mean health-wise, but haven’t noticed any side effects over that timeframe other than weight gain.

Has anyone been through this by chance? I booked an appointment with my primary physician but I’m not even sure what questions I should be asking?
