I think Ventress's stories in Tales of the Underworld would have worked better in a different "Tales of" show.

When I see the title "Tales of the Underworld" I think of crime. Ventress may be a bounty hunter in the clone wars, but she >!abandoned that life!< by the time this show begins. Her arc of >!helping a jedi find The Path!< feels like something that belongs in another Tales show and makes the title feel irrelevant.

Tales of the Jedi season 2 would be my go-to option since the subject matter is Jedi focused. With that said, I think bringing Ventress back would have been a really good opportunity to make "Tales of the Nightsisters" a thing. LucasFilm could have moved Morgan Elsbeth's episodes to that show instead of Empire and then the main characters of both arcs would have been more relevant to the title. As a side benefit, Empire could have had a more compelling Imperial based character like Thrawn or Tarkin since Morgan's episodes would be grouped with Ventress's.
