AITA for not moving in with my girlfriend yet because I’m broke and trying to be realistic

I (18M) have been in a relationship with my girlfriend (18F) for 1 year and 10 months. We’ve talked about moving in together and building a future, and now there might even be a kid involved.

Here’s the issue: I’m broke. My family is broke. I’ve been working on renovations for a house that’s taken over a year to finish due to delays, including a hurricane and my dad getting injured. The house is finally on the market now. My parents owe me money for helping out, but I haven’t been paid yet.

I’ve been applying to jobs nonstop — Indeed, Snagajob, Recruiter, you name it. I had an interview, but the hours didn’t match what they were looking for, so I didn’t get the job. I told my girlfriend all of this, but she thinks I’m lying or stalling.

She told me I should “just take the risk” and move in already, even though I only have $151 to my name. A bus ticket alone would eat up most of that. I’d be showing up with clothes and a few personal things, but not much else.

Now she says she’s done. That I don’t take risks. That I’ve “lost her.” I tried explaining I literally can’t afford to just up and leave without a plan or money to support us both. She struggles financially too, and I asked her how we’d have stability if both of us are broke.

She told me I only think about myself, and that I should’ve said no when my parents asked to borrow money. She says I’m always being “too logical.” But to me, trying to move responsibly isn’t selfish — it’s trying not to crash and burn together.
