SK Tours - Bangor, ME

I did search, and the most recent post about the tour is over six months old and closed. I had the chance to take the SK Tour of Derry/Bangor, ME and I just want to very, very highly recommend it to anyone who is able to take the trip. Amazing tour, very personal and informative. The guide is great, engaging and enthusiastic. For someone who was raised on Stephen King novels it was maybe the best tour of anything I've ever been to, including the Louvre.

My favorite was seeing the direct places where Bangor and Derry overlap, like the picnic bench of the Old Crocks, Frati's loan and pawn (and finding out what it meant for Stephen King himself,) seeing the many wonderful things Tabitha and Stephen have done for their hometown still makes me tear up.

Maybe my favorite tour I've taken of anything, including the Louvre.
