Is it worth skipping naruto filler

I know im a bit late to the party, and i only started watching naruto a few weeks ago, and i really got into it. I was enjoying it very much and before i knew it i got to around episode 150, and i saw that after this point there is only filler. Typically i dont enjoy filler in animes and often skip it, but not always, so i was wondering if there was any reason for me to watch these next 70 episodes of filler or if i should read an overview and move onto shippuden. I also know that shippuden has a lot of filler and if i should also skip those filler arcs
