How to "seal the deal"?

There's been a couple times when I've been out, having a good time with a girl that I've met, and although I've initiated some light physical contact I can never seem to get them to come home with me.

The night usually fizzles out with us saying our goodbyes and parting ways.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, or if I'm doing anything right at all.
