Toddler crib talking

My son is 2 (27 months) and recently the SECOND we put him in his crib he starts talking up a storm. And he continues talking for awhile. Hes exhausted about to be asleep and then the hes put in his crib and starts talking for 30+ mins. I know hes over tired and we’re working on figuring out a solution to that. Any ideas or insight?
