Unemployment Process Questions

Hi,

I just filed an unemployment application on 4/26/25 and am not sure what comes next. I’m looking for any advice because I really don’t want to mess anything up. I honestly don’t understand much about this whole process so if anyone is able to shed light I would be incredibly grateful. Thanks in advance!!

Following submitting my application, I haven’t received an email or any other type of correspondence regarding my application. There’s a portion of the home page titled “Current Claim Status” under which it says, “You currently have a Regular claim effective from 04/27/2025 until 04/26/2026 in Active status. Click here to view your claim status details.” Does that mean my application has been approved?

I know I have to submit something on a weekly basis and apply for 3 jobs every week by Sunday, but I’m unsure what exactly I need to submit and if I need to do this while is my application is still pending? (Which I’m not even sure if it is)

I’m worried that I already messed up because when I click the “Weekly” tab, it says this at the top: “Your weekly certification for 04/27/2025-05/03/2025”

I didn’t apply for any jobs since the day I submitted my unemployment application, and since the date listed is yesterday, I obviously should have been, right? I won’t have anything to include on this weekly certification.

Sorry for such a long post! I’m more confused and worried now that I’ve written this than I was before. Also please be nice if I’m missing something obvious. I need help not judgement. Thank you
