will my scars go away?

i’ve had scars on my legs and ankles for about 6 months now as they’ve faded since then but now they are just brown lines on my leg. i’ve tried to be accepting of them but i only feel ashamed whenever i see them or i wear clothes whereas they are clearly visible.
