Will Coinbase Wallet do a transaction if You can't afford network fee?
Hello. First, I understand the network fee is not decided by Coinbase but I was wondering if there is an explanation for what I saw in the Coinbase Wallet app. I sent someone $20 worth of Solana using Coinbase Wallet the other day. They confirmed they received the Solana and the transaction was completed. I am certain the fee was like 1 cent.
Today I looked at the transaction history in the app, and for some reason the Network Fee was showing $88 million - 605,000 SOL. I don't know if this is some sort of glitch but obviously this makes no sense and I didn't have anywhere near that amount in my account to cover that fee. I just wanted to know if anyone knows why this number appears. If it's impossible for a transaction to pass without having enough money for the network fee, that confirms this was a glitch, right? Thanks
