Postpartum pigmentation

Hi there! I'm 9 months postpartum and have a dark spot on my face that hasn't faded since giving birth. It's really annoying bc its right where a mustache would be. Does anyone have any affordable recommendations? I like making products myself when possible so that is also an option.
