Kody & Robyn's side of things

I've been rewatching, as usual, and whenever either Robyn or Kody give their side to things, why does it just not add up to what we've seen for all these seasons. Ok, once or twice maybe we learned something new, but their BS is astonishing. As an example, we see Robyn getting the big house (down payment from the proceeds from Janelle's and Meri's house), massive amounts of art, misc "decor" (and I use that term loosely), cars, kids toys, landscaping, rentals of giant UHauls (btw why were they able to park those on the property, but Janelle had to ask permission for her trailer), etc and Kody said the proceeds from Robyn's was used to pay family bills. Which bills? Robyn's shopping addiction? Their mutual art purchases, jewelry??? Robyn blames everything on "them" not following her expert polygamist rules. Kody blames his kids not speaking to him on his exwives, and yet even the kids have said that isn't true. Nothing they say/do aligns with the perspective of the OG3 wives and the kids.
