New grad RN interviews

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What’s your long time vs short time goal?

How do you guys answer this question i personally want to go to NP school in the next 5 years but I know people says pursing higher education is not a good answer for this question during interviews.

I have said I wanted to get certifications such as CCRN, ACLS, be part of the code blue team during interview but I always had the interviewers asked me “ok and what’s your plan after that”

I genuinely confused on how to correctly answer this question.
