Employer sharing my home address with employees

Location: Alabama

So I THINK this may actually be legal for them, but I want to double check. For context, I am a Field Service Technician and travel all over the state to service machines. My employer has all employees use an app on a work device to acknowledge and edit work orders. These work orders include addresses of all locations I am to visit for the day and can be seen by everyone. Not a problem, but I noticed today that my home address is also publicly available to all employees (I was not made aware of this to the best of my knowledge)

My work also tracks my location via this app, so I understand why my home address needs to be logged but does it need to be visible for Any of my coworkers to view? I've reviewed the company handbook and any other relevant sounding documents, as well as my initial offer letter, and found nothing notating that my address would be fully visible to my fellow coworkers

I understand why supervisors, HR, etc. would need access to it, but why coworkers? I can't think of a legitimate reason they could give for unlimited access and would appreciate any insight into this, thank you 🙏
