Can’t change email!

Hi, I am new to rainbow six siege and been playing the game on and off since 2020, I never enjoyed it those years because of how lost and confused I was until this month where I decided to give the game a 5th chance and it finally clicked with me and I am enjoying.

Anyways I realised that to play ranked I needed 2FA active which is something I can’t do as the email linked to my account is my father’s which he used to make the account long ago and he doesn’t have access to it anymore, I tried talking to Yahoo support but they got a paid customer support service for some reason??? and I don’t really want to spend money as a gamble with the probability that I’ll get the account back lmao.

I contacted Ubisoft support and they responded immediately(insanely surprising for me considering the recent reputation they have these days) and they said they couldn’t help UNLESS the ORIGINAL OWNER of the EMAIL CONTACTED THEM, which is really flabbergasting for me as I told them no one has access to that email anymore???? But either way I do play on PSN and it is linked with my Ubisoft account, I would really appreciate any help from people who went through similar situations.
