Playstation 5 remote play speed

How do I improve connection to my ps5 that's half way across the globe ( I'm in Canada and my PS5 in Vietnam ) so that I can consistently use PS remote play. I connected both the PS5 and laptop to router using a LAN cable but still no lucks app says connection too slow. Both ps5 and laptop have NAT type 2. Should I use VPN to help or smt ? any suggestions helps. Thanks
