lump on neck

im a 15F and a random pea sized lump has grown on the back-side of my neck. its super small and not really visible. but its firm/immovable and sore to the touch, like a bruise. its only a tiny bit red, but nothing else. going to urgent care tomorrow. my dad insists its just a cyst. is it a cyst or should i be worried?
