Mild stimulant tea

Books

Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to herbalism, I've been reading books and following my intuition and that seems to be working well for me.

I have ADHD and also really really struggle with inertia after waking. I can't have coffee (for stomach reasons) and am generally very sensitive to caffeine.

I've been really drawn to Gota Kola, and pondering adding it to my regime alongside ashwagahnda to just help balance out my nervous system a bit. But I'd also like to make a tea in the mornings to help me get over the misery of waking up, and to help with concentration etc.

I've heard some people use dandelion root and/or certain mushrooms to replace coffee. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a mild stimulant I could experiment with? Either to add to a ashwagahnda + Gota Kola tea or just to take on it's own.
