Baby breastfeeding less

I noticed that my almost 8 month old baby has been feeding less these days, he doesn’t want to eat as often during the day, mostly only right before going to sleep, and during the night when he wakes up sometimes he does sometimes he doesn’t. Is this the new normal? I’m a ftm so I really don’t know how much is too little eating for babies but I did notice a big change, he went from eating very often to every 3 hours or so. Should I be worry about my supply? Should I be pumping until he gets back to normal? He is eating solids but he eats a very small amount of food.
