For the love of all that is good and holy, fix the receipts coming out of this new system...the story of my embarrassingly long exchange.
I keep track of what’s on my receipts for various reasons, but yesterday I wanted to exchange a couple of wallflowers, hand soaps and a candle for other scents. Whenever I do this, I match the receipt to the item and put them in separate bags out of consideration for the associate (and the people in line behind me). Unfortunately, they were almost all on different receipts as I’d bought a few here and there on various sales, plus larger hauls on the recent 2.95 sales, and one candle was from a BOPIS. It never used to be a problem to identify which scents were on which receipt, but the information is no longer there on most of them (unless you match the number over the bar code with the receipt). I tried to figure out what was on which, but gave up and went walking in with a handful of receipts.
Example: HS_8.75Z_NGCHS_MDAY_ is what shows up for Blueberry Bellini, Fresh Cut Lilacs, Sweet Orange Blossom and Iced Lemon Pound Cake.
And of course, who wouldn’t know that HS_8.75Z_NGCHS_SFL_ was Sweetest Song?
It was too much to do a no receipt return, because it adds up quick, but I felt so bad for the associate. Can the receipts not have something sufficient to show the name of the scent?
TLDR: The receipts from the new system are absolutely, utterly useless if you ever need to know what scents are on them.
