Making up a narrative: G2 doesn't believe in Waylay, Jawg jett is just bad

Watching these mind-numbing Ascent execs where Jawg dashes in, loses all the space by going out and then G2 has to use the power of friendship and walk through smokes and chokes with their hands together made me think that it's obvious they can see this isn't working, because it isn't the first time these things happen.

This made me notice that Ascent and Icebox, their two Waylay maps, are maps where a lot of teams, even the ones that have good yorus, will still bet on Jett.

We're all aware that Demon1 was the Jett player on EG but do you all believe that maybe his Jett is so atrocious they thought it can't work over this weird duelist or am I tripping?
