Realistic branching expectations/competitiveness at OCS?
Trying to set some realistic expectations for the branch allocations at OCS. From what I’ve gathered, this is generally how competitive the branches are. How accurate is this?
Tier List (2025 Army OCS Competitiveness)
| Tier | Branches | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Adjutant General, Finance, Cyber, Medical Services, Aviation | packet branches and tiny branches with little to no ocs slots |
| 2 | Intelligence, Engineer, Infantry | competitive and sought after but not unrealistic to aim for |
| 3 | Field Artillery, Armor, Ordnance, Quartermaster, Transportation, MP | good chance to get, less competitive but not avoided. plenty of slots |
| 4 | ADA, Chemical | least desired for whatever reason, very attainable |
