Question about tacking.
I work for a company that ships through FedEx. I had a customer call in concerned her package was lost. The package shipped from NY and 2 or 3 days later had scans in CA. Then like 3 or 4 days later there was scans in NJ. I called fedex and the guy that answered said some things that really just confused me. I never heard of this before. He said all the scans on the west coast was just GPS scans, like that's where it was suppose to be but it wasn't really there. So I was like it sat for over a week in NY? He initially said no but when I pushed and said He was stating it was never on the west coast and it doesn't take a week to get from NY to NJ he finally said yes that it sat in NY for a week because of a delay. I didn't believe a word this guy said. I never had a FedEx employee tell me this. I assumed the package just got on the wrong truck but he was saying some crazy stuff.
Does anyone have a clue what hw was talking about
