Dear younger people: do you believe the us political construct of democrat or republican is outdated ?

To explain further, I feel like the issue in the US is that those that run for president or congress or any political seat most popularly are either republican or democrat. My thing is, I also feel that’s what causes all the animosity and perpetuating issues. Why aren’t we gathering together to create another political party that isn’t either ? They are such extremely different sides that continuously cause such a division amongst our society. And at some level I hope that most of us young people can agree that both sides of leaders continue to perpetuate the same problems. Don’t you think there needs to be a systematic change ? Honestly, it’s like insanity- doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. We always end up in the same predicament : largely divided. How do my YOUNG people, 30 & under feel about this?
