I question the accuracy of Film Maker Mode.
On my LG C1 I enjoyed Film Maker mode, but on my C4 it looks duller, less saturated, not quite sharp enough, and I question the additional brightness the C4 offers over the C1(at least in this mode).
I did a lot of comparison testing today(UB820 & Lord Of The Rings 4K), and my question is what does Film Maker mode do that can't be done in other modes? For example going to "Vivid" preset and adjusting all settings like Tru Motion, Smooth Gradiation, MPEG/Noise Reduction, Real Cinema, etc.. to off. What does Film Maker do differently that makes it superior?
"As director intended". But every director intended something different, so how do we know this is correct? I mostly watch my movies and shows in the dark, which is somewhat necessary with Film Maker Mode otherwise its just too damn dark, but switching back and forth between FMM and Vivid with my personal adjustments I see a much better, crisper, vibrant image with a more accurate look. Just my two cents. I have a C1, C2, and now C4.
