How do you make friends in this industry?

With people who don't work in your restaurant obviously, more like people who manage nearby stores of the same chain, or people who manage nearby restaurants. I've realized that making friends within the same restaurant is always a recipe for a disaster when you're the manager yourself. Or trying to remain friends with another manager who got fired from your restaurant, who hangs out with an ex boss, who hates you lol... yeah, I realized I need some friends. But it's so hard to have time to go out when you're a restaurant manager. Like, I work Sunday mornings I don't go out at night I'll get too tired 💤
