I just realized...

Massive spoilers for KFS and KCD too!!

I recently finished rereading call of darkness (third time cuz I missed Amrit) and a thought popped on my head. So, we don't yet know what will happen with Devi's possible kids with the LIs especially given that they weren't even mentioned in KCD, but... It's likely that if Devi has children with Doran, their descendants will be murdered.

We know Vimal orchestrated the elimination of the whole Basu family besides Indira and her descendants (because it's mentioned that all the Basus besides them lived in Kliphagrami), which is what leads me to believe this. Something unexpected might happen, like Doran and Devi and/or their offspring living somewhere else, far away from the dozen, but it's unlikely for various reasons.

Also now that I think about it, whose children would even be canon in KCD? Will Devi not have kids at all? Or is Lalit's husband her descendant? Idk, this type of plotholes is the biggest issue with prequels. I know I'm overthinking now but I had to share my thoughts anyway.
