Questions to ask?

63F. Had a heart catheterization on March 30 which proved severe aortic stenosis. Saw the PA for the surgery team and had a CAT scan last week and I see the surgeon on Tuesday.

Much to my surprise, they are considering TAVR. I'm very concerned about how long that would last.

What all should I be asking? What are the questions about surgery that you wished you'd asked?
