Aita for snatching my food away from a little boy?
I had errands to run, I couldn't run them over the weekend because I was out of the country. Now that I'm less busy I had time to get more things for the house.
My daughter and I went to the mall to get her some bathing suits and some home decoration. There was a lot of kids in the mall, so it was very packed to get where we needed to go. We got a few stop but my daughter got hungry, we ordered some auntie Anne’s with some slushy’s. There are tables where you can sit down so that's where we sat, my daughter had her headphones on talking to her friends.
I also had my earpods in listening to a podcast, I was looking through my list so I wouldn't forget anything, while I had my blue slushy in my hand. I didn't know a little boy sat next to me and drank from my straw, it took me 2 seconds to realize and I snatched it away from him. I didn't see any of his parents close to him, until I was asking who child this was.
That's when an unbothered lady came up and grabbed him, I told her what he did and she just brushed it off. She said he's just a kid, that's understandable but you don't teach your kids to eat off strangers. She was upset with the fact that I snatched my stuff from him, which was weird. Apparently, I'm TA for that.
