How many violations get us automod banned in the on-site generator, and is it permanent?

I just narrowly missed being auto-banned in the on-site generator, I kept hitting the gen button repeatedly, not realizing the hold-up was a blocked prompt and not my stuck keyboard.

So now I'm wondering the rules: If the automod blocks me from the onsite gen, is it permanent? and how many times hitting that button would get me a ban?
