Assistance

So I recently bought an 06 charger and I knew I'd have to fix somethings. I just need better insight before I go get a diagnostic. I just changed the battery to a brand spanking new one she drives perfectly until I turn on the AC or Heat, then the lights on my dash starts going haywire. Is that an alternator issue?
