Rant: Copying my wedding/being cheap?

Hello! I got married about 8 weeks ago and it was the most perfect day. My husband and I are going to a wedding soon and I’ve found out the bride for this wedding has started texting my husband about everything she loved about our wedding. She even texted him that our reception entrance was genius and that she’s going to copy it. I’m not super close with this couple but for some reason this has really gotten under my skin.

Also, they have made the experience for their guest leading up not enjoyable. They texted out invites, requested RSVP’s just be a text back, have made it clear that there is only enough chairs for the family during the ceremony so we are all just supposed to stand around. The entire wedding is outside during the summer in the southern heat. Also, their wedding registry includes items like toilet paper and laundry detergent. They have also been aggressive about making sure everyone brings cash tips for the bar tender if you are planning on drinking. It just feels like they are trying to be as cheap as possible and do the bare minimum. Which is fine because weddings these days have gotten ridiculous expensive and crazy but this almost feels below the bare minimum?

It’s frustrating that I feel like my hard work is being copied by a couple that just doesn’t really seem to care or want to plan a wedding. I understand planning a wedding is stressful since I just went through it but I’m really disappointed. My husband agrees that he doesn’t love the way the situation has been handled but states the obvious there’s nothing we can do about it.
