Anyone else feel this way?
Apologies if this isn't the right subreddit to post this, but this one was not approved by a different one, so I thought I'd try posting here.
Anyway, I don't know if it's just me, but all my life, I've had severely, extremely heightened sensitivity to...all sorts of things that'll give me suicidal thoughts. But the thing I want to talk about in this post is that just inserting other speak in the wrong tone could inspire such thoughts in me.
Heck, here's a seemingly mild example:
"Despite everything positive about them, I can't support them no matter what for this reason."
Now, I kept it vague and generic for various reasons, but even that kind of message, just with the generic stuff replaced with more specific ones, is more than enough for me to be filled with desire to kill myself. And that's just the commenter either speaking to no one, like in a YouTube comment or a Reddit comment, or even replying to someone. Imagine if I was directly involved with the conversation! That would haunt me for the rest of my days, right?
Well, guess what: That's already happened. Multiple times throughout my life, and every time that conversation crops up, the negative desires come back again, even if only for a moment, but it's enough to potentially derail me from whatever I was doing or thinking for a prolonged period of time.
I don't know the point of posting all of this, but thanks for listening, anyway.
