Did any of you parrot the same things about your narcissistic parents, upbringing or life stories to others growing up?

For some reason after a point I kept repeating the same things & stories about my parents praising them or covering up my life to be good. I would always say it on the same lines. In fact even when young I would parrot praises of the narcissist parent. It’s just that I couldn’t help it.
