Help for lures and bait to use.

Hello, I am going to a trip to a lagoon from my college. I really can’t find info on what lures or bait to use for some of the fish available there. From my knowledge there are many cichlids, gar and catfish. I also have the full list with their scientific names if someone needs more info to know what to suggest.
