Wrong membership number

A couple months ago I noticed that my bank account was charged for a membership. Not sure if it was a renewal or not (didn’t say it was on the bank statement) and I found it weird cause I hadn’t authorized BJ’s to renew my membership. It’s probably been over a year since I’ve gone, mostly cause I hadn’t gotten around to actually renewing my membership. I was thankfully reimbursed through my bank because I didn’t recognize the transaction.

Fast forward to today, after completely forgetting about that whole situation, I went to renew my membership in the app and realized the bank account/card linked to the account isn’t even the one I currently have (within the last year I closed my old bank account which was the one connected to my BJ’s account). I then went back to the statement from a few months ago and realized the membership number isn’t even my BJ’s membership number. There was clearly some type of fraud actually going on there because I haven’t been to BJ’s at all since opening my new bank account and getting the new debit card that goes with it. Is there a way to find out who’s connected to that membership number that was on my bank statement? Ultimately so I can make sure my account doesn’t get charged a year from now??
