need advice asap

for a graduation present i was gonna get myself another guitar, and i really wanted to get an electric. my starter and only guitar is acoustic, off brand, and even being new to guitar i can tell it’s pretty terrible quality

should i use that money to get an electric which im more interested in? or should i get a better acoustic to learn on before i start electric?
