Need advice on clothes with mice problem.

I've lived at my house for 10+ years and only dealt with ants, spiders, and crickets in the basement. I thought those were annoying but recently mice came into the picture. It's gotten genuinely overwhelming. My mom first noticed one in the basement but in a couple months of no action they've somehow gotten upstairs too.

The problem is that I had a bit of a shopping problem a while back. The house is kinda small so I stored it all in the guestroom since we never have guests. Then.. we got guests so I moved all the stuff to the basement for storage. Then the mice and... there's mouse crap everywhere. When I first noticed it I couldn't bring myself to look closely I was just shocked they got on the bed I put the boxes on. I recently looked again and it's really all over.. the harder stuff I can wipe right? but there's a lot of clothes and.. I can't toss them what do I do? When I bought most of the stuff I thought they'd last forever. Help me please. I read on hantavirus and I'm scared. It also just disgusts me since I heard they piss everywhere they crap but I really don't want to toss it all.
