Sued by lvnv.

Hello, being sued in California by lvnv for 7k. I replied to the summons and my court date is next june 2026. I could definitely pay it but was looking to settle if i could? I saw that maybe usinga bankruptcy tactic may get them to bite? I would like to pay 2-3k for the bill but i understand this is my fault. I just dont want to go to court.
