I don’t understand female social dynamics

Last week I was told by a now ex friend that her friend read a Substack piece of mine and came to the conclusion that I might be fatphobic. I didn’t have the heart to tell her if that’s what she got out of it than she probably isn’t a deep thinker which is fine but she continues on to tell me that her friend feels I didn’t go to the beach with her because I might hate fat people as well as other issues that have nothing to do with me that i guess were brought up as a result of my writing. My ex friend said I should reach out and talk things out, it went horribly wrong and I got blamed for not addressing it the “right way” even though I didn’t actually play a part in anything. I ended up cutting off both friendships but now I’m incredibly bothered by the narrative.
