How much money these excess firm paying to trading influencers

I have been trading since 2017 - I know every single trader who’s selling courses, from old to latest in the market, I have no question about them selling since it’s their expertise they are adding additional source. But what surprised me was all these traders stopped selling courses and actually started referring prop firms and selling funded accounts. Is that more profitable than actually selling trading courses?
