I'm lost af and need help

I'm on episode 214 because it's free but the max out rn is 220, will I always be 6 epsidoes behind? I heard that you can a new pass (for an ad) every time a new episode comes out can I catch up this way? Or am I stuck

If I am stuck is there any free way to catch up to 220? I love thus series but it sucks when everyone else is ahead and I have to avoid spoilers even tho I right there lol
