Why popele believe in free will
I often hear people say we don’t have free will — that everything we do is just the result of our brain, our past, or trauma. But honestly, that feels wrong to me. In real life, we’re raised with values. We’re taught what’s right and wrong. We learn self-control. That’s what growing up is.
If someone cheats or lies, they chose to do it. Yes, maybe their past made it harder — but they still knew it was wrong. That’s what being an adult means: making the right choice even when it’s not easy.
So I’m asking: Why do some people believe we don’t have free will? Doesn’t personal responsibility still matter
